Jeff Fowler, PMP, ITIL, MCSE
Chief Technology Officer
Jeffrey Fowler is an enterprise technology veteran with over sixteen years of experience in the field. He spent seven years working in the enterprise managed hosting industry where he served as the lead architect and project manager for several world-wide infrastructure, communications, collaboration, and security projects. While there he was the architect of a multi-tenant communications and collaboration system that housed hundreds of customers for over 20,000 users.
He spent five years as an enterprise IT strategist and architect consulting within the Department of Energy's Chief Information Officer's Office managing the systems engineering team where he developed the five year roadmap and created the IT transformation strategy in conjunction with Federal leadership. He was also the lead architect and project manager for a new full enterprise service center which delivered geo-diverse, highly available data center, security, communications, and collaboration services for 10,000 Federal employees with cross-country COOP capabilities for all services.
He worked as the Chief Architect and Program Manager for the Department of Energy National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA) Classified NNSA Network Vision (C2NV) project as part of a nationwide IT modernization program for the introduction of cloud computing, communications and collaboration services, mobility, and virtual desktop infrastructure services.
He is a member of the Association for Computer Machinery, the Project Management Institute with a PMP certification, is ITIL certified, and MCSE certified. He graduated with honors from the University of Maryland University College with a BS in Technology Management.
